Quiz Question Example: How many units of alcohol are there in a pint of lager? Answer: Approximately 2.3 units

Quiz Question Example: How many young people are admitted to hospital each year from alcohol poisoning? Answer: In our sample year 954,469 – that?s two admissions a minute

Activity Example: My best friend, Chris, is getting into more and more trouble because he goes out drinking every Friday night. Chris regularly goes to the local pubs and clubs drinking all evening. He always finishes off with shots, which he drinks very quickly, so Chris doesn?t know how many drinks he has had. I know that the evenings often end with him falling over, being sick and having to be taken home, and on a few occasions he?s been arrested by the police. What can I do to help or should I just leave him to it?

This CD-Rom carefully presents the facts about alcohol and also the consequences of drinking it; this then allows young people to make their own informed choice about drinking alcohol.
