Internet use has become almost universal amongst all ages and populations. It is essential for pupils, both primary and secondary: for research; for homework; for checking facts. It is also now used extensively by everyone, but particularly children and young people, for communicating with friends; for arranging social lives; playing online games either alone or with others; following what friends are doing.
