Parenting Snakes and Ladders?takes the familiar format and applies it to the important subject of parenting skills. To go up the ladders and avoid the snakes players have to choose the best option for dealing with a range of parenting problems.
Each problem has three choices and players can choose from five age groups,?from baby to teenager.
The game has 75 parenting dilemmas, 75 health and development questions and?over 40 general discussion themes. All text is spoken as well as appearing on?screen.
Parenting Snakes and Ladders?aims to be co-operative rather than competitive?so players have to pool their knowledge and skills to reach the top. Developed?by a multi-disciplinary Childcare Partnership team and suitable for use in?schools, youth clubs, parenting classes, family centres and with other parent?groups.
“Parenting Snakes & Ladders is a great product due to its multi-sensory approach. It encourages open discussion and stimulates thought-provoking questions.”
